SLIPPER DAY 2026

On Friday, 29 May our preschoolers proudly took part in Slipper Day and thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to come to school wearing their favourite slippers. The day was filled with excitement, laughter and plenty of cosy feet as the children embraced the spirit of giving while having fun with their friends.

Slipper Day is a wonderful initiative that raises awareness and support for children with life-threatening illnesses through the work of Reach For A Dream. By participating, our children learned that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference in the lives of others.

Thank you to all our families and staff for supporting this meaningful cause and helping to make the day such a memorable one for our little learners.

    Buzzing with Excitement: World Bee Day at Milnerton Pre-Primary School!

    On Tuesday, 20th May, Milnerton Pre-Primary was buzzing with excitement as we celebrated World Bee Day! Our school came alive with the cheerful hum of little bees, as children arrived dressed in their best black-and-yellow outfits – wings, feelers and all!

    The day was filled with fun and learning as our curious little learners discovered just how important bees are to our planet. Through stories, songs and hands-on activities, the children learned how bees help pollinate flowers, fruits and vegetables and how their hard work keeps nature blooming and our food growing.

    World Bee Day reminded us all that even the tiniest creatures can make a big difference. We are so proud of how our preschoolers embraced the day – learning, laughing and appreciating the wonderful world of bees!
